Before entering the nature reserve, you will see the prec iousness of the giant wooded pasture, then discover the pond of the Gruère. By following the provided foot path we will go back the 12’000 years that seperate us from the last glaciation. In this atypical area that is the peat bog, the fauna and more particularly the flora, will let us in on their survival secrets. There is also man, man influenced by the legends of the marshland, man who uses and modifies and man who studies, understands and protects…
During the work to redesign the path at the Étang de la Gruère, a guided tour is still possible. The tour will be adapted accordingly.
